Depth Of A Mould

A pregnant pause reflected upon perfunctorily
A smiling mouth holding secrets unknown
A house haunted with memories old
Of lies and deception, betrayal so cold
Poured into a mould was all of reality
Shifted into shapes you wanted to see
Shackled and chained to the old brick walls
And you thought you were free
The mould when broken was found hollow inside
Million shattered pieces and nothing left behind
Yesterday, covered with dust I found another mould
I have said my goodbyes and now once again
I lay myself in its familiar hold.
